I have had a personal battle, you all know with my feelings towards the art of hip-hop. Since my youth I have been somehow, gripped by the culture, despite my roots as a central valley country bumpkin. We all know that my tongue is quite mighty in the realm of freestyle rapping and that I have been able to pull of wearing outfits that many of my norweigan brothers could not pull off. Regardless, I have revitalized my fondness for the art. Here are a few reasons why:
Saigon: This dude is raw, I consider him to be a modern Big L (rest in peace). He also socked up Prodigy from Mobb Deep, which, I support.
Young Jeezy: I never thought I would enjoy a character like this, however, he has been praised by such royalty as Nas and Ice Cube, wonderful...
Smif n Wessun: Cocoa Brovas was dope and I like these dudes as well...
