Ok-wow, what a photo...this is Andy Roy at Sugarhill Skate Park in Fresno, CA circa 1996. Andy Roy killed this park, straight up. He had a gnarly spider web tattooed on his head and I would often wish my Mom would have taken me to the mall instead of leaving me at the park with this character. Pure Gnar!!!

During my travels through Greece, I was perplexed by some of the phallic symbols I found at ancient ruins as well as the so very present vibe of charming men in white linen pants smiling at me. I have had a personal battle, you all know with my feelings towards the art of hip-hop. Since my youth I have been somehow, gripped by the culture, despite my roots as a central valley country bumpkin. We all know that my tongue is quite mighty in the realm of freestyle rapping and that I have been able to pull of wearing outfits that many of my norweigan brothers could not pull off. Regardless, I have revitalized my fondness for the art. Here are a few reasons why:

What can I say about this last weekend??? Holy shit!!! I got a call that my father had been seriously injured. A man drove through a Chevron station as my Dad was attempting to get a Diet Coke. Anyhow, my Dad is going to be ok yet suffered a compound fracture amongst other injuries. Here are some pictures of the carnage. Dad is alive and tougher then coffin nails.....Do not want to say much more. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Love you Dad....

This has been a great year for me. It has probably been the best year of my life and I say this for many reasons. I post this to highlight the good times I have had this year. I am so thankful for my life!!!!

These are the events of 2008:

I proposed to the most beautiful woman I have ever known.

That beautiful woman agreed to marry me, Solid!!!

My wonderful nephew and the greatest blessing Kameron Paul was born.

I purchased with my fiancee, an awesome house, our first house and a new home.

We then adopted a boxer named Birdie, who is the greatest dog ever.

I have come to realize how blessed I am in this world. My life is amazing and not to be taken for granted like I have in the past. I love you all.

Almost an entire year since I wrote on my blog. Well, much has changed. I know that.

I still miss my friend-Mat and I during an awkward summer. The haircuts and the green tea frappucinos make no sense, those things are really bad for you. The tire on Nate's Isuzu was about to pop on a trip to skate in SF. As the tire was repaired, we burned in the heat and probably complained.
